Nine Mile Creek now offers respite care!

July Pancake Breakfast

We raised $329 for VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) at our July Pancake Breakfast Benefit! The money will go towards providing birthday bags, the summer youth food program, back to school supplies, and holiday gift store services.

Nine Mile Creek Senior Living Celebrates its Grand Opening!

Nine Mile Creek Senior Living celebrates its Grand Slam Grand Opening on Mary 23, 2010. Attendees enjoy delicious ballpark fare, music and prices, including tickets to a Twins game at the new Target Field. The event features an appearance by Frank Quilici, Twins baseball legend.

Nine Mile Creek Senior Living is located at the corner of Old Shakopee Road and Penn Avenue in Bloomington.

Nine Mile Creek Senior Living offers residential apartments for those who choose to live independently and maintenance-free. Assisted living services are available within apartments, so those who need help with personal or health care do not have to move. A special, secure memory care area offers comprehensive services for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss.

Senior living apartments are available in one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Each includes a full kitchen with all appliances, laundry room, all utilities except telephone, basic satellite television, and an emergency call system. All interior and exterior maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal, are provided. Scheduled transportation and housekeeping services are available as well. Residents can join with neighbors in a wide variety of activities and events that fit every interest.

Amenities within Nine Mile Creek Senior Living include a concierge at the front desk, chef-prepared meals in the Moir View Dining Room, the Town Hall Club Room with large screen television, Nine Mile Event Center for parties and gatherings, a fitness center, movie theater, and Brookside Salon and Spa.

Assisted living services are tailored for each person. Health and personal care can come to any apartment within Nine Mile Creek. Services include three meals each day, housekeeping, laundry and linens, and emergency call pendant. A registered nurse is on site 40 hours per week, and care staff are on duty 24 hours every day.

Creekside Memory Care is a special, secure area within Nine Mile Creek for those with memory loss. Each individual has a private apartment, private bath and kitchenette. Services are comprehensive and include a full range of health and personal care. Ability-centered activities enrich each person’s life.

“Not only will Nine Mile Creek Senior Living be a center of convenience for our residents, it will be a resource for Bloomington,” said Brent Rogers, Vice President at Greco, LLC, developers of the community. “It will enable us to promote growth and activity for all area seniors.”

Operational services are provided by Ebenezer Management Service, an experienced provider of residential and health care for seniors since 1917.
